Go back and watch this scene (9x01)

The one where Dean has the new angel on the block in the ring of fire in the garage.

So we all have our theories about Ezekiel. I have decided, based on this scene, that this isn't really Zeke. The pause before answering Dean's question, followed by a squirrelly glance off to the side (in combination with not having been recognized by the other angel) have convinced me that we are dealing with imposter!Ezekiel.

Also, he doesn't seem to have his own angel blade. Why?
My theory is that he was either in angel jail or an angelic mental asylum, and thus unarmed, when he was expelled from Heaven. I'm leaning towards mental asylum - this guy was unstable, and may really have meant well when he occupied Sam, but is now going crazy in there.

I think he's not what he says he is (either he's not Zeke, or he is but Zeke's a bad guy who's been out of the loop for a while, maybe exiled or imprisoned) because...

1. He doesn't know who Naomi is
2. The other angel in the hospital garage didn't recognize him
3. Cas didn't recognize him in Sam (though maybe he's hidden from angels when Sam is driving?)
4. He just gives me a bad feeling.

Yeah, being out of the loop would explain not having heard of Naomi, too.
I'm not sure about how easily human!Cas could recognize an angel inside Sam, especially if the passenger were napping. After all, Cas didn't recognize Hael as an angel, either, although she recognized him.
Since imposter!Ezekiel doesn't know Castiel's limitations, he'd want him out of the bunker just to be sure.
I do think that some angel besides Cas, or a powerful demon such as Crowley or Abaddon, or a reaper might be able to detect that Sam is eating for two.
